Lanie List has created brand identities and fashion direction for dozens of brands over the course of her 25 year career in the fashion industry. In 2010, Lanie embarked on a creation of her own: a ‘cool girls’ bridal shop called Lovely Bride. Over the course of her self-taught, entrepreneurial journey, Lanie has grown the chain into a 19 store franchise, with an international location in London. She has quietly built an 8-figure business and amassed a loyal following on social media that has eclipsed the ‘big box’ bridal shops. Today she sets the brand, marketing, and product direction for Lovely Bride, supporting the growth of her 11 franchisees. In addition, she loves helping other women with franchising concepts, business strategy, and brand development and is available for 1:1 advisory work.

There are limited opportunities for new locations and some ownership changes in existing locations. In addition, Lovely’s licensing program has found success with close to core categories like bridesmaids.

Lanie loves to share her wealth of knowledge with others. From serving in the corporate C-suite to becoming an entrepreneur, Lanie can easily identify and advise on all sides of businesses, big and small. Lanie is especially interested in joining boards of small to medium fashion start-ups.
